The KAI Group was founded in Gifu Prefecture, and has been forging high quality blades since 1909.
We were tasked with leveraging KAI Group's 111th anniversary event, at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, to raise awareness of the company among the general public using the latest AR technology.
Visitors enjoyed searching for a total of five different digital stamps scattered throughout the event area. As they moved through the event, they discovered company history, product details and enjoyed demonstrations and discovered AR markers to watch videos and get the AR stamps.

Learn more about KAI with our custom app. Point the special smartphone at the triangle symbol on the table in front of each booth. Watch the concept movie play on the table through the smartphone. Audio plays through the smartphone speakers and 3D graphics display key information.

Collect an AR stamp at each booth. After finishing your AR experience, AR stamps will be added automatically as a stamp animation on screen.

Get a special gift from KAI Group. When you have all the AR stamps from all the booths, you can get a special gift from KAI by showing your AR stamps to event staff.
